It’s funny how we all flounder around trying to find our way, yet we each take that struggle so personally: “I am a failure because I don’t know where my life is going.” The advice you gave ‘parents of 20-somethings’ is what we should use on ourselves: have compassion for yourSELF, and tone down the judgment and pressure. Maybe failure is just life’s way of showing us what we’re NOT meant to be doing.
